The most basic of firearms, the pistol is useful because it holds six bullets, alowing you to put a lot of fire on an enemy target quickly. The pistol doesn't have enough power to kill much more than the weakest of enemies. The pistol uses both normal bullets and silver bullets.
Shooting a monster in the leg or stomach is much less effective than shooting it in the head.
If you use Haste spell while fighting another monster, for example, a howler, you can shoot fast and reload fast, as longer as the Haste spell is in use.
